How To Use the Online Wagering Interface
- My Favorite Tracks
- Click edit and then use the drop down menu to select the tracks you like to appear in this section. When you save these tracks, they will appear on the console on the top of your screen. You can change these tracks every day, depending on which tracks are running. To see odds or probables, or to place a wager on a favorite track, just click on the track name on the main betting page.
- My Account
- This section shows your ID number and running account balance. Click on Fund if you wish to make a deposit into your account.
- Drop Down Menu To Switch Tracks
- Located directly under the Finger Lakes Bonus Bets logo in the top left-hand corner of the main betting page. Simply click the down arrow and select the track on which you would like to wager or see odds, information or probables. As you switch to the track you prefer, the minutes to post and the race number for the next available race will be displayed next to the track's name.
- Live Video
- Allows you to view a live feed from a list of tracks. Simply click on live video and then click on the track you wish to watch, and the live feed will appear if available.
- Race Info
- Shows the purse and race conditions for the currently selected race.
- Handicapping Store
- Click here to view a selection of handicapping and past performance information from sources including Equibase and Trackmaster. Purchases from the Handicapping Store are debited directly from your account, and can be downloaded for viewing or printing.
- Schedule
- Shows you which tracks are available for viewing and wagering today as well as for upcoming dates.
- Scratches & Changes
- Selecting this section allows you to view the scratches and changes for the tracks that are available that day.
- Info
- Shows the horse's age, sire and dam followed by the trainer, jockey (with jockey's weight in brackets).
- Probables
- Shows the current probable payoffs for exacta's or daily doubles, if applicable. For example, if you want to see what an exacta of number 5 onto 2 is paying, simply look at the vertical column and find the 5. You then match it up with the 2 on the horizontal column to see the probable price. Note: The probable price indicates what the payoff would be if the race went off at that point in time. Until the pools officially close, odds change all the time, so this is just an indicator of what type of prices to expect and not an official price.
- Pools
- This shows how much money is bet to win, place, show, etc. in real time for the current race selected.
- Results
- This is where to find out the prices of races made official for today's races at the track selected.
How To Bet
- Click the type of bet you want to make
- Click the amount of your base bet or type it into the box marked Other. For example, to place an $8 wager, you would only need to type the number 8 in the box.
- Select your horse(s) you wish to wager on.
- Your potential wager will appear in the "Your Ticket" Box.
- You have a choice to PLACE BET NOW (send the bet immediately), or clear the bet (discard the bet) or QUEUE BET (transferring your wager to the Queued Bet box, located on the lower right side of the interface, for wagering at any time before the race begins).
- Confirm that this is the wager you wish to make by selecting OK when prompted in the popup window.
- The Queued Bet Box
- Using the queued bet box provides the astute bettor the opportunity to prepare for multiple wagering situations/opportunities that arise in the final minutes to post time. By placing multiple wagers into the queue you will now have the ability to make a split second decision on which wager to send based on your pool wagering strategies. This allows you the opportunity to see the majority of the money in the pool before making the decision. A player who uses probable payoffs and makes their selections based on value than the Queue is for you.
- History
- This shows a history of the bets that you have made that day via the wagering interface. Note: You may have sent a bet in your history that wasn't accepted because, for example, the race went off before the bet made it into the pool. However the wagers that are in the history section that are accompanied by a serial number were submitted on time.
- Receipt
- In this section you can view bets that have been officially accepted and receipts for bets that have been placed in the past. View your activity by clicking on the specific wager in the history section.
